Aerospace supply chain resilience improves most when OEMs and tier-1s share a small, well-governed set of demand, configuration, and disruption signals, and suppliers return a focused set of capacity, constraint, and quality data. The key is to standardize and automate a minimal data set, integrate with existing ERP/MES/QMS where possible, and avoid turning suppliers into systems integrators.

Aerospace OEMs should not try to expose detailed execution data across the entire supply base at once. Prioritize high-impact suppliers: complex, special-process, and qualification-heavy parts; single-source and long-lead items; chronic quality or OTD issues; and tier‑1 integrators. Selection must reflect real risk, data readiness, and integration constraints.
