AS9102 software ROI is highly site-specific. It depends on current FAI labor, error and rework rates, scrap, flow-time delays, audit prep effort, and integration/validation costs. You calculate ROI by quantifying baseline costs, estimating realistic improvements and downtime risks, and comparing annualized savings against total lifecycle cost of ownership.

Common pitfalls when integrating AS9102 software with legacy ERP/MES/PLM/QMS include unclear data ownership, poor characteristic and part mapping, brittle custom interfaces, and weak change control. In brownfield aerospace plants, underestimating validation, master-data cleanup, and AS9102-specific traceability often leads to failure or reversion to spreadsheets.
