Connect981 is not simply a replacement label for a traditional QMS. In most plants, a QMS remains the system of record for controlled quality processes, approvals, and evidence, while Connect981 is used to improve execution, data capture, routing, and traceability around NCR handling. The difference depends on integration depth, workflow design, validation, and how responsibilities are split across existing systems.
