The right mix depends on product mix, program maturity, routing discipline, and how well ERP, MES, QMS, and supplier data actually reconcile.

In aerospace manufacturing, revenue is not the primary constraint. Safety, airworthiness, regulatory compliance, and long-term program viability take precedence. Executives are forced to trade short-term revenue for disciplined quality, traceability, configuration control, and risk management, especially in brownfield, highly regulated environments.
